This place tries with some success to bring a touch of gourmet to Hamm. We had the romantic menu. The service at the start was slow, 20 mins to get a drink, but for the rest of the meal it was better. The servers are really friendly and accomodating. As for the food, they know how to cook liver well. I would not choose the Pot au Feu, the Potato tasted powdery, and the fish was overcooked for me. The sauces for meat are all very flavourful. The homemade ice and sorbet are very tasty. The price point is expensive for the area, but you would pay in KĂśln much more for an inferior offering.
